ISTO 2002 - The Beginning of an Era!

The orginal Irish Student Trampoline open (ISTO) was the brain-child of Denise Fitzgerald (UCD) and Annette Flynn (TCD). The idea was born out of a night of drinking in 2001 and has had continued success ever since!! The distinctive logo is Annette%u2019s design (a misspent Engineering lecture).

The original committee started work in late 2001, and was composed of:

These were a great working group, driven by the enthusiasm and dedication of Denise.

ISTO 2002 was the competition that pioneered the use of the radio headset! The %u201Ctasty special%u201D and the %u201Cworsky%u201D made its international trampoline clubs debut in ISTO 2002 in %u201CPeg%u2019s%u201D. Excellent nights out and an amazing weekend!
